Vida Glam Living

Hello,

Well, it is a new week and it is off to a great start.  Vida Glam spent the weekend at the Old Mill Toronto for a jewelry party.  Everyone that attended had great feedback to share on the pieces brought along to showcase and the sales were great.  It was nice to have a location that exemplifies the Vida Glam brand and was a good experience into another channel for distribution.  The room included a separate lounge area with ample seating, a fire place and access to a powder room any woman would fall in love with! Since I had a room overnight I made sure I enjoyed the rest of the day relaxing while celebrating a successful weekend doing what I love.

For now, I leave you with a little glimpse of my indulgence once everyone left.  Now its time to get back to work.

Living your Dream

Happy Friday!!

I came across a wonderful idea to manifest what you want your life to be.  The idea is to build a billboard with images, quotes, books, anything that signifies which direction you would like to see your life go.  This may be difficult for some people, it takes time and effort to reflect on what your dream life could be. I'm not talking about the easy dream life, we have all wished at one time or another to win the lottery. I'm talking about thinking through what plans and goals they can put in place to make a tangible dream life a reality.  I've committed myself to do just that, I already know what my dream life would be.  I mean, I at least have one aspect nailed down.  The next step is to make it happen.  I encourage you to do the same.  Nothing in life that is worth celebrating in the name of success just falls in our laps.  It takes dedication, resolve, and hard work to get there.  Begin thinking about what one aspect of your life you would like to change.  What does your life look like in your minds eye?  Make it happen!  Live your Vida as Glam as you can.  The limits are really up to you.  Stay committed to your dream and NEVER believe anyone who tries to disuade you from your goals to make it happen.

Hello 2013, thank you 2012 for all the lessons.....

It has been a year since my last post; I took a long break from many of the business aspects of Vida Glam. This year gave me a good chance to revisit the reason I started this business and where I really want to take it. To get inspiration I travelled to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and New York City. I had a great deal of time to think about my inspiration for Vida Glam. I was finding it difficult to get artistically inspired and thus began my travel plans. Here I am in 2013; I have rekindled my inspiration and motivation for Vida Glam, only this time I feel like I have a whole new perspective on where Vida Glam is going. I began expanding the business out of my little "studio" to the retail sector. I am elated to announce Vida Glam is now in stores! We can be found at Adrenaline on Queen St. West in Toronto and Charisma Salon and Spa in Scarborough, Ontario. I am meeting with 2 more contact over the next few weeks to begin discussions on including Vida Glam pieces in these stores as well. This is better than I could have ever asked for and has sparked a motivational fire that will not burn out anytime soon.

 Going forward I only have positive things to look forward to so I say, thank you 2012 for all the great lessons, the travels, the new relationships and so many other wonderful positives.  Let 2013 bring all the wonderful opportunities that await. Although it is a little late Happy New Year everyone!!
